Machine Health and Predictive Maintenance
Use vibration, sound, voltage/current fluctuations and other sensor inputs to identify conditions requiring operator intervention or that indicate maintenance requirements. Works especially well with rotating equipment.
Use visible light, multi-spectral, hyperspectral or x-ray imagery to identify surface defects for manufacturing quality control or equipment inspections. Works especially well with rust, corrosion, scratches, blisters, dimples and divots.
